It certainly looks like Fall here on the Ridge! This weekend was a glorious peaking of the autumn colors on the trees. It is gorgeous to ride around the community and the area to see how magnificent Nature truly is.

We are a community located in the heart of the Catskills, in Monticello, NY. Our beautiful community lies just 2 ½ miles off exit 105B on Route 17. We have 150 residences on a hilly ridge that is a park like setting. Each unit has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room/dining room with fireplace and skylights, kitchen and porch (many enclosed). The community was established in 1985 and is operated as a not-for-profit homeowners association.  We are self-managed by a Board of Directors, consisting of residents of the community. We have a staff for landscaping and maintenance of the grounds and a team for safety who patrol and guard the incoming gates.

The community has a pool and poolside pavilion and deck for our summer enjoyment. We also have a Clubhouse with capacity for 300 people. The clubhouse has a stage where entertainment is provided for the residents at no cost on Saturday nights during the summer season. There is also a dance floor, ping pong and pool tables, kitchen facilities, bathrooms and a gym. Other activities in the clubhouse include Bingo, movies, card parties, and theme dinners. Clubs that have been established can enjoy the Clubhouse  or Pool Pavilion as a gathering site as well.  Poolside Saturday afternoon cocktail parties are a “hit” with residents.

While most residents spend the spring and summer in Hidden Ridge, our community can be enjoyed year-round in the entire splendor of each season. We are located near several skiing areas, golf courses, tennis courts, walking trails, and antiques emporia.  Nearby are Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center, Forestburgh Theatre, Monticello Racetrack and Racino, and other cultural assets of the Catskills.
The Hidden Ridge GEM, which is our community newspaper is published 6 times a year (4 during the summer season and 2 during the winter) and, along with this website, are the venues by which all of our community residents keep informed about upcoming activities, meetings and entertainment.
